Hydro mask review

Hey ladies! I've got another review for you all today. I recently received this hydro mask for intensive skin hydration. First of all it came in a neat packaging, with separate sides; one for the bottom part of your face and the other half for the top half of your face. It didn't have any fragrance to it, it was basically just like a jelly in the shape of a face in water!

I opened it, I must say it was very wet and slippy to get out of the packet as it was simply just a gel formula on a tray. After picking it up, I placed it on my face which felt so weired! I'd never tried anything like this before or put anything like it on my face, so I was even more eager to find out what it was going to be like. I did find it quite a struggle to put on my face, however it was so much better when I lied down and my boyfriend put it on for me, it just prevented it slipping off and gave it a minute to stick onto my face properly.

Once it was stuck on, I left for about 15 minutes which was the recommended time to leave on your face. When it got up to around 15 minutes, it started to loose its grip, almost as if it was telling me that the time was up. Now I'm not entirely sure if this is supposed to happen or it was just me imagining things haha! If it was supposed to do this, it is a cleaver idea!

So, did I like this mask? Yes I found it very different, like nothing I'd ever tried before. When it was on your face as well it felt quite relaxing. (It also gave me an excuse to lie there for 15 minutes to have a little rest.) after I took the mask off, my face felt very refreshed and renewed. It was almost as if my face had been pulled as my skin felt very tight, which I liked.

The product also stated that it was to help reduce redness on your face. Now, I suffer with red blotches on my skin because of my psoriasis and it's also very dry. So I was double excited to see the results. When I took this mask off, it did indeed reduce my redness. It didn't remove it as such but it definatley toned it right down. I was chuffed!

As you can see in the picture the mask kind of took to my skin, and sank into it, well it felt like that. It felt almost as if it was getting right in there giving my skin a good refresh!

Would I recommend this product? Indeed I would, for people with red skin that needs more hydration, I'd definatley give it a shot! If you'd like to give this mask a try you can find them on the skin breeze website here!

Have you ladies ever tried this mask? If not what face masks have you tried? Which ones are your favourites, I'd love to hear about them so I can try them out for myself!

  3. Sounds great! I have some slight red patches too that I'd love to disappear along with the dryness. Maybe I'll have to give it a try sometime.

  4. Love your Breaking bad onesie haha! I have a love hate relationship with masks, they feel so weird but they're always some of the best ones. I'm desperate to get rid of my winter skin x
